Our Story

Born From 1,800 Conversations

I interviewed 1,800 rideshare drivers face-to-face across every major city in North Carolina over 24 months. The story was the same everywhere — drivers are earning less while platforms take more. 73% told me they'd pay a flat monthly fee if it meant keeping 100% of their fares. That's when I knew the subscription model wasn't just an idea. It was what drivers were asking for.

The Problem Nobody Was Solving

Every rideshare alternative that tried to compete with Uber failed for the same reasons — they spread too thin across too many markets, offered one-time referral bonuses that didn't sustain momentum, and tried to beat Uber at Uber's own game.

ICE takes a different approach entirely. Instead of competing with Uber and Lyft, we coexist alongside them. Drivers run ICE alongside their existing apps. The difference? On ICE, they keep up to 100% of every fare by paying a simple monthly subscription.

From Idea to Launch

2023
Research Phase Begins
Started interviewing rideshare drivers across North Carolina. Face-to-face conversations at airport lots, gas stations, and driver meetups. The data was clear — drivers wanted an alternative.
2024
1,800 Interviews Complete
Covered every major NC city. 73% of drivers said they'd pay a subscription for 0% commission. 81% were actively looking for Uber/Lyft alternatives. The subscription model was validated.
Early 2025
Company Formation & Patent Filed
Digiverse Technologies incorporated. Provisional patent filed for the multi-tier subscription rideshare model and dual-track ambassador referral system. Platform development begins.
Mid 2025
NC DOT License & Insurance Secured
Received Transportation Network Company license from NC Department of Transportation. Secured $200K commercial insurance coverage through Y-Risk. Legally operational.
Late 2025
Apps Built & 200+ Drivers Committed
ICE driver and rider apps developed and tested. 200+ drivers pre-committed to launch. Ambassador referral network recruited. TestFlight with 500+ downloads.
2026
Live on Google Play & App Store
ICE officially launches in North Carolina. Google Play Store live. Apple App Store approved. Driver onboarding begins. The subscription rideshare revolution starts here.
